#04-21 Girls’ Whistler Weekend

 Susan, Kim and I ventured off on our first weekend at Whistler this winter. There was snow predicted so Kim was a bit uneasy about the drive but it went smoothly with very little snow accumulating.  As usual, the cart was loaded with our many bags … how many bags do 3 women need for a 2 night stay?! We were soon singing along to Adele’s new album “30” and enjoying the ambience of my sister’s beautiful condo.  First up was a visit to the condo/hotel hot tub that we fortunately had to ourselves. I ventured into the outdoor heated pool and swam lengths for 15 minutes with snow surrounding me & gondolas smoothly cruising by above. On Saturday we made our way down the mountain for a walk through the beautiful Chateau Whistler, through Blackcomb Village and into Whistler Village. We enjoyed yummy crepes at Crepe Montagne, browsed a few shops and made our way back up the mountain to the warmth of our condo.
